Taittinger uses the "champenoise" method for their champagne production. Taittinger Brut La Francaise is composed of 40% Chardonnay, 60% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier combined (typically 35% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier). It is a blend of more than 35 different crus from various harvests. Aging on the lees ranges from 3 to 4 years prior to disgorgement (twice the legal aging requirement).
